Laurie earned her Medical Laboratory Technician (MLA/T) Diploma from the Ontario Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists in 2002. Upon completion of her student internship with KGK Synergize Inc., Ms. Guthrie pursued a career within the company. At KGK, Laurie worked for the Contract Research Services Division as a Customer Sales Representative. Later, she went back to work in research for a transgenic facility at the University of Western Ontario (UWO) where she was involved in a variety of areas such as immunology, anti-cancer, cardio-vascular, and neurological research.

Previously, Ms. Guthrie worked for Sears Canada Inc. as a Rapid Credit Coordinator, a position dedicated to meeting credit application targets store-wide. Laurie was later promoted to a management position after exceeding goal expectations, making her the youngest Sales Team Manager in the region during that time. Laurie developed exceptional customer service skills in this role. She went on to successfully complete a Sales Advantage Program in London, Ontario.

Reunited with KGK in April 2010, Laurie brings not only her sales and customer service experience, but nearly ten years of proficiency in many facets of research and development.  Her pre-clinical and clinical research expertise provides insight to the sales team know-how and is an asset in assisting KGK clients with their clinical research needs!
