As VP/Finance, Robert Bortolussi has overall responsibility for finance and corporate development activities. He joined KGK as the Company's first financial comptroller, in March 2003 and has been recently promoted to VP/finance. He manages the financial issues to ensure the core business is preserved while working with additional funding partners to finance the drive for continued profitable growth.
Mr. Bortolussi is a Chartered Accountant with 20 years of experience in public accounting and as financial controller in industry. Prior to joining KGK, he worked as a financial consultant with a number of start-up companies, establishing accounting systems, preparing a wide variety of financial information for financing; as well as dealing with human resources challenges encountered by owner operated businesses.
Mr. Bortolussi holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario, and went on to complete his Diploma in Accounting at Wilfrid Laurier University. He obtained his CA designation from the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants, receiving recognition as one of the top 10 performers in the region.
